I hope this page will give you some idea of what to expect when you choose me as your Driving Instructor. Structured Training I teach in a structured way including all DSA syllabus requirements to reach “Level 5”- unaided/unprompted driving as described in the DSA Driver Record. Every step you take will be comfortable, relaxed and fun. Everyone learns at their own pace so the learning process will be tailored around you and your needs. I’ll never hold you back when you’re ready for the next stage. I want you to do well so that you only say good things about me when I’m not around!!. Great Value I don’t include my travel time as part of your lesson. I will always give you your full lesson time allocation – if you pay for an hour – you’ll be in my car for at least a full hour from the time I pick you up – from home, school or office until I drop you off – wherever’s convenient for you. I don’t stop to post letters or make and receive phone calls in your time. You get my undivided attention at all times when I’m teaching you. Flexibility I will teach you subject to my own availability for as many hours a week as you require. I can teach you once or twice a week, semi intensively or intensively. I won’t ever insist on a certain number of lessons per week or on any set durations for each lesson. I’ll work with you to fit around your other commitments. I will advise you what has worked well for past pupils but ultimately the decisions are yours. Learning to drive requires a significant financial commitment that can last for several months and sometimes only 1 hour per week is affordable - and that’s fine – but you should be aware that students who take just one lesson a week will normally take more hours in total to attain their full licence. When can I learn ? I work full time offering lessons 6 days a week with Sundays off. I can offer you flexible training times at no extra cost to you. Please be aware that Saturday is the most requested day for lessons so those slots tend to get booked up weeks in advance. No Worries Nervous pupils are my speciality, so if you’re just beginning or looking to return after a bad driving experience, don't be concerned about getting in touch !! Development and Remedial Training In addition to teaching Learners, I can help you get your licence back after revocation, I offer refresher training, Pass Plus training, motorway, night driving, corporate driver improvement, advanced driving techniques and ADI training.
